A private philanthropic network
Giving, with purpose.
Impact, through action.
Built on trust and shared responsibility, AlexanderB Foundation brings people together to turn compassion into meaningful action.
Giving is more than what we contribute. It is the responsibility we take, the time we give, and the difference we help create.
Why we began
A promise that began with loss.
AlexanderB Foundation began with something deeply personal: the loss of Alexander's mother to breast cancer. In the years that followed, he began supporting cancer foundations, hospitals and the people they care for.
Over time, that commitment grew into something wider. He came to see that hardship takes many forms, and that help can take many forms too — from essential equipment and learning resources to practical assistance and a genuine hand in making things happen.
Her memory remains at the heart of why the journey began. The wider mission reflects a simple belief: we can make a difference when we combine resources with personal involvement and a real willingness to help.
Our philosophy
Don't just fund the difference. Help make it happen.
Some people contribute resources. Others bring expertise, organise procurement, coordinate logistics, or give their time. Every contribution has a role, and every role can help turn a shared intention into practical action.
An example
Laptops and mobile phones for people who need them
A participant might do more than fund the equipment. They could identify suitable devices, evaluate suppliers, coordinate the purchase, arrange delivery, and help ensure the equipment reaches the people it was intended for.
- Identify the right equipment for the need
- Evaluate suppliers and compare options
- Coordinate the purchase and paperwork
- Arrange transport and delivery
- Confirm the equipment reached its recipients
Not every participant is expected to carry out every task. The principle is simply that meaningful participation can extend beyond a financial contribution.
The model
A private network built on trust.
The foundation is not built to collect money. It is built to help people take part in charitable work, through relationships and shared responsibility. Participants contribute in whatever way fits their resources, their abilities and the needs of a particular initiative.
Financial contributions
Contributing toward the agreed budget of a specific initiative.
Professional expertise
Offering knowledge from your field, whether legal, medical, technical or logistical.
Time and volunteer effort
Giving time to help carry an initiative from intention to completion.
Equipment and essential supplies
Providing devices, materials or supplies that an initiative requires.

Identifying suppliers, negotiating purchases, arranging transport and delivery.
Project coordination
Taking responsibility for overseeing the agreed tasks of an initiative.

Accountability
Trust is earned through how we work.
Every initiative is expected to follow a simple discipline: agree the purpose, agree the budget, record the spending, confirm the delivery, and report honestly on what happened.
- Purpose-specific budgets agreed before an initiative begins.
- Clear responsibilities, so every task has an owner.
- Reasonable checks on the suppliers and services we rely on.
- Documentation of purchases and their intended purpose.
